Porto/Post/Doc has been selected as a Guest Festival of the Doc Around Europe network in 2025, together with DocPoint Helsinki.

This participation marks an important step in the festival’s international strategy and reinforces its commitment to supporting European documentary cinema.

Doc Around Europe is a collaborative network of documentary film festivals that share the goal of promoting emerging talents and increasing the circulation of independent European documentaries. In 2025, Porto/Post/Doc and DocPoint join the network as temporary guest festivals.

The current member festivals of the network are: DOK.fest München, DocsBarcelona, FIPADOC, MakeDox, Verzió, and Biografilm Festival.

As a Guest Festival, Porto/Post/Doc will present a selection of Portuguese documentaries on the Doc Around Europe VoD platform, helping to increase the international visibility of national productions and their creators. The collaboration also includes knowledge exchange, cross-promotion, and expanded networking opportunities among programmers and audiences.

This partnership is aligned with Porto/Post/Doc’s broader strategy of reinforcing international cooperation and supporting the circulation of independent films, with a special focus on creative documentary.
