In 2025, Porto/Post/Doc once again brings together the professional community shaping contemporary cinema. Over four intensive days, the Industry programme consolidates years of work, deepening the dialogue between creation and the market. Here, ideas become projects, projects find partners, and films discover their path to audiences.
Through presentations, meetings, and labs, the festival offers a genuine workspace where filmmakers, producers, sales agents, and programmers meet in an atmosphere of exchange and discovery. Each activity addresses a specific stage in the production cycle: the Industry Screenings showcase films in post-production ready to enter the festival and distribution circuit; the Co-Production Meetings foster new alliances for the development of projects between production companies from different origins; Arché Porto Lab provides time and guidance for creative development; Working Class Heroes connects filmmaking with the stories and communities of the city; the Luso-Galician Forum strengthens ties between neighbouring regions; and Series Production explores series as a contemporary artistic and political form.
Talks, masterclasses, and one-to-one meetings complete a programme that values close mentorship and critical reflection. Supported by a strong and diverse network of partners, Porto/Post/Doc’s Industry activities continue to grow organically, remaining true to their purpose: to be a space of encounter, continuity, and momentum.
