A former envelope factory in Tampere was converted into an asylum reception centre before closing in 2007. Jan Ijäs returns to the empty building, where industrial surfaces and remembered voices evoke people held in prolonged uncertainty. The space becomes a human warehouse, haunted by suspended lives and the absence of recognition.
