In the mountains of northwest Iberia, the Garrano moves through a territory shared by human and non-human beings. “Phosphene” gathers images of striking events and frees them from strictly realistic interpretation, turning landscape into an inner and unstable experience. Between reality and symbol, the film becomes a sensory fable about time, life, death and the clash between civilisation and nature.
