"The God That Destroys" sets colonial archives against contemporary landscapes, animation and performance. In Sápmi, Jyoti Mistry traces a long history of control and extraction imposed on Indigenous land and knowledge, questioning the violence preserved in images and institutions. By interrupting and reworking the archive, the film makes space for Sámi presence, sound and resistance.
