In the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War, Elsa, a Berlin-based artist, travels through Spain seeking the erased history of Francoist concentration camps. Her search intertwines with the story of Carmen and Ángel, lovers separated in 1939 and interned in victors' camps. Through fiction, letters, and landscapes, the film confronts collective forgetting.
