In the mountains of Sinjajevina, Montenegro, Gara and her daughter Nada spend the summer tending livestock, making cheese and gathering medicinal herbs. When the government advances plans for a NATO-backed military training ground, Gara joins the campaign to defend the mountain. Two generations face a new threat to the place they call home.
