In “In The Land of Others”, Porto/Post/Doc concludes the trilogy begun with “The Movement of Peoples”, dedicated to human displacement, belonging, and the tensions between territory, identity and memory. Between departure and return, proximity and estrangement, the films in this programme move across different geographies to reflect on what it means to inhabit a place that never fully recognises us. Five films that approach displacement as both a physical and intimate experience, shaped by visible and invisible borders and by the search for a possible place in the world.
