The opening session of the 13th edition of Porto/Post/Doc, in 2026, includes a brief opening ceremony, followed by the world premiere of “The City and the Maps”, the first feature film by Alexandra Guimarães and Gonçalo L. Almeida. The film follows two distinct journeys through Porto, revealing a city being reshaped by work, tourism and migration.

The film was made with support from the Working Class Heroes grant, a partnership between Porto/Post/Doc and Filmaporto — Porto Film Commission, supported by the “la Caixa” Foundation through CaixaForum+.
