Centrifugal movement was an expression once used to describe the tactical, situated beginnings of an anti-colonial armed struggle. In a flow of gestures and recurrences, a building is collectively imagined and constructed by the traditional community of the militant Guinea-Bissauan filmmaker Sana na N’Hada. Future is rejected to make space for what waits ahead. Intertwining local dreams and cine-kin’s visions, Resonance Spiral traverses moments at the newly erected community space in Malafo.
