Several men, in white tunics, stand still and stare directly at the camera, but out of the corner of their eye as their faces are sideways. They begin to undress. There is an atmosphere of unease on behalf of the spectator that is being stared at, but also some of the men, who find it difficult to hold their gaze. The silence is only interrupted by the birds singing outside. They get dressed again, but there remains a sense of stupefying apathy.
