Resulting from footage taken between 1952 and 1978 by the Lithuanian artist George Maciunas, this film brings together images of his parents, of many Fluxus events (Maciunas was one of the founders of this artistic movement) and scenes from his private life and friends. Yoko Ono, John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Joe Jones, Almus Salcius, among others, are some of the models present in that footage. Concerning the soundtrack, Jonas Mekas gives literally voice to the diaries kept during the last year of Maciunas' life and the film ends up with "Zefiro Torna", a madrigal by Monteverdi, the favourite composer of Maciunas.
