Novos Cinemas is an international film festival devoted to the new filmmakers. However, the festival itself is just the highlight of a specific year-long programme since the project sets out to encompass the entire spectrum: exhibition, distribution, formation and divulgation. Besides the Official Selection –for first or second feature films–, this year has emerged our new modest yet powerful section Latexos (Heartbeats), a selection of intimate, delicate films which, for the most part, had not been released in Spain before. Edition 02 of Novos Cinemas Pontevedra International Film Festival took place from June 27th to July 2nd 2017.
