Schrödinger’s cat may have nothing to do with this. It doesn’t matter if, inside the box, the cat is alive, dead or living dead. It is a paradox. Even so, a film about a Portuguese rock band can start with and introduction to quantum physics, when some of these basic concepts are used as a starting point for the Creative process. Director Ricardo Oliveira registered the musings of the recording of Capitão Fausto’ third original album: Capitão Fausto tem os dias contados. And when in one of the songs, – “Corazón” – one hears: “… Pontas soltas. Isso é comigo. E por isso queres também ser assim. Pontas soltas. Isso é comigo. Para estragar um disco tenham-me a mim…”, one understands that the band formed by Tomás Wallenstein, Manuel Palha, Francisco Ferreira, Domingos Coimbra and Salvador Seabra has come of age and has tied those loose ends, more than a diary, it is an experience to complement the listening of the record.
