The Porto Industry Days 2026 will take place from 23 to 26 November, as part of the 13th edition of Porto/Post/Doc: Film & Media Festival.
Over four days, the programme will bring together filmmakers, producers, sales agents, festival programmers, distributors, platforms, funds, consultants and other international professionals in a working context dedicated to the development, co-production, completion, circulation and internationalisation of film and audiovisual projects.
Based in Porto, the programme proposes a focused structure, oriented towards professional meetings, project support and the creation of new opportunities for collaboration. Porto Industry Days follows different stages of the audiovisual value chain, from writing to development, from co-production to post-production, from creation to critical reflection on new formats.
In 2026, the Open Calls for Industry Screenings and Co-Production Meetings expand their territorial scope and are now open to projects with production in European territory.
The programme is organised around five main strands:
• Industry Screenings: presentations of projects in post-production, rough cut or work-in-progress stage to invited professionals, supporting premiere strategies, sales, distribution, completion and international circulation;
• Co-Production Meetings: a space dedicated to creating new alliances between independent production companies, funds, distributors, platforms, sales agents, festival programmers, consultants and international partners for projects in development or pre-production;
• Arché Porto Writing and Development Lab: a programme for critical support and the development of film projects;
• Working Class Heroes Grant: support for the creation of a new film work about Porto, its communities and social transformations;
• Series Production: a space for reflection, training and debate on the writing, creation and production of contemporary series.
Presentations, private screenings, masterclasses, labs, talks and one-to-one meetings are part of a programme oriented towards qualified professional relationships and the encounter between projects, authors, producers and international interlocutors.
Porto Industry Days follows projects at different stages and with different production structures. Creators without an associated production company may find a framework in initiatives such as Arché Porto or, when applicable, Industry Screenings. Co-Production Meetings are aimed at projects submitted by eligible independent production companies.
Applications for Industry Screenings, Co-Production Meetings and Arché Porto are open until 15 July 2026.
