In August, Porto /Post/Doc took to Dokufest, in Kosovo, a program dedicated to the fiction of the real in Portuguese cinema. This time Dokufest comes to Porto in November to present and disseminate the best of contemporary cinema produced or co-produced in Kosovo with the program We've Only Just Begun: Kosovo Stories.
There will be ten films divided in four sessions that will take place from November 27 to 30, between Porto Municipal Theater - Rivoli and Cinema Trindade.
Veton Nurkollari, Dokufest's artistic director, highlights the exhibition of Home, a BAFTA-winning short film directed by Daniel Mulloy, Fence, the talented Lendita Zeqiraj, a set of war-themed films as well as of two documentaries by promising Kosovo filmmakers that provide insight into the youngest country in Europe.
Porto/Post/Doc takes place between November 24 and December 2 at the Porto Municipal Theater - Rivoli, Cinema Passos Manuel, Cinema Trindade, Planetário do Porto - Centro Ciência Viva, Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and Escola das Artes - UCP.
The 2018 edition of Porto/Post/Doc has the support of Câmara Municipal do Porto, ICA - Instituto do Cinema e Audiovisual – Ministério da Cultura, CVRVV - Vinho Verde, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Acción Cultural Española - AC/E, Cinemateca Portuguesa - Museu do Cinema and ArtWorks, among many others.
