After the death of his mother, and in order to finally visit her birthplace, Portugal, Paco decides to take an unpredictable journey to deliver a mysterious package. But during this journey several obstacles appear, and now Paco finds himself surrounded with dubious characters in a place he doesn't belong to. Foreign Land is a mix of drama, thriller and road movie, a lyrical and poetical work that has become a cult film of the Brazilian cinema of the 90's.
